Itasca, Illinois (April 11, 2006) — 3 weeks before the Annual Associated Risk Managers (ARM) Conference, organizers are finalizing program details to challenge our nation's risk management leaders. Scheduled May 1-4, 2006 at the Grand Hyatt on Union Square, in the shadows of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, ARM member-attendees from across the U.S. will convene at a world-class destination to pursue invaluable learning and networking.

"Connecting Resources" will be the theme of the three days, filled with stimulating speakers, workshops, and social events designed to educate, inform, and bring ARM members together.  Following an introductory lunch, Scott Spangler, Assistant V.P. of ARM Partners, will deliver the welcome address, including appearances by outgoing chairman Ty Hopkins, and his incoming successor Larry Johnson.

A full agenda of high-profile speakers and topics spans the most current issues and events facing independent agencies today, including "Disaster Planning & Recovery”, "Creating Vision," and “State of the Insurance Marketplace".  In addition to individual state meetings, breakout sessions will target specialized fields such as Medical Malpractice, Cyber Liability, the Hospitality Industry, and the D&O/E&O Marketplace, among others.

From marketing basics to the international marketplace, attendees will explore new ideas and perspectives while learning alongside top producers in their field. Of course, networking time will be equally as valuable during golf at the Presidio and sightseeing tours to Muir Woods and Sausalito.

ARM is the nation's foremost independent agency network, encompassing more than 300 agency members and representing $8+ billion annually in premium volume. For a detailed agenda see attached, or for registration information visit www.armiweb.comStrong as One. Powerful as Many.
