Itasca,
Illinois (February 24, 2009) — As many organizations
feel the strain of a failing economy, Associated Risk Managers
(ARM) is finding reasons to pull together. For idea exchange,
networking, and to leverage the resources of independent
insurance agents, ARM will host its 2009 Annual Conference. “Magical
Place, Inspiration for Growth” is the theme for this
year’s event being held in Orlando, Florida, April
15-17, 2009, at the four-diamond, four-star hotel, The
Peabody. Reservations are due by March 16, 2009 (see contact
information below).
According to ARM Chairman Larry McSpadden
of Indiana, “Now more than ever, companies need to
support each other. As ARM member agencies gather from
all over the country, the conference is an opportunity
to strengthen our connections and expand our presence.
We realize we’re all in this together.” ARM
executives and board members will meet prior to the conference
to address growth initiatives for the coming year.

Registration
opens at 1-5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, preceding a Welcome
Reception and Dinner with a keynote speaker, to be announced.
Thursday, April 16, offers informative workshops, breakout
sessions, trade fair, and networking discussions that lend
practical, cost-saving, smart business perspectives. An
optional fun event (to be announced) will take advantage
of Orlando’s “playground” and provide
members further outlet for interaction. The conference
will end on Friday, April 17 with a farewell breakfast
and departure.
