Itasca,
Illinois (February 27, 2007) — In anticipation of
the annual Associated Risk Managers (ARM) National Conference,
organizers are planning a substantive program of information,
education, and entertainment. This year, the nation’s
top-producing independent retail agents will gather Oceanside
in Hilton Head, South Carolina at the Hilton Head Marriott
Beach & Golf Resort, April 17-19, 2007.
Inspired by the theme, “Expanding ARM’s
Horizons”, the 2007 ARM National
Conference will address specific issues and needs of
independent insurance agents. According to Scott Spangler,
Vice President, ARM Partners, “This year’s
conference is especially significant as it marks a
turning point for the ARM organization.” Resolved
to growth both in numbers and national presence, keynote
speakers and breakout sessions will rally support on
a national level.
A General Session will kick-off the Conference on Tuesday
with introductory remarks by Larry Johnson, Chairman, ARM
National. A series of high-profile presenters will
round out the afternoon, including keynote speaker Fred Eppinger,
President & CEO of Hanover Insurance Company. On
the evening of April 17th, attendees will gather for the
opening reception and reconnect with member friends.

In
a full agenda on Wednesday breakout sessions will explore
the most current issues and trends facing independent agencies
today, followed by a luncheon Trade Fair. Throughout
the gathering, ARM members will have the opportunity to
learn and network alongside other risk management leaders
while sharing valuable market perspectives. When work is
done about 2:00 p.m., attendees can relax or take advantage
of the area’s coastal beauty and sports, before leaving
the Marriott at 5:00 p.m. for a scenic ride to Windows
on the Waterway for a Low-Country dinner party. Thursday,
optional recreation continues including golf or a tour
of historic Savannah.
