Itasca,
Illinois (March 12, 2009) — Associated Risk Managers
(ARM), the nation’s foremost independent agency network
will hold its National Conference April 15–17 at
The Peabody Orlando. Organizers are planning a substantive
program of information, education, and networking.
With
the theme, “Magical Place, Inspiration for Growth” the
2009 ARM National Conference will address the specific
issues and needs of its independent agency members. According
to Scott Spangler, Vice President of ARM Partners, which
provides support services to ARM, “this year’s
conference is significant as it focuses on ARM’s
continued commitment to growth in membership and in national
recognition.”
The conference will begin on Wednesday
with a welcoming dinner reception sponsored by AFCO Credit
Corporation, the premium finance company that recently
acquired the U.S. assets of Cananwill Inc., a loyal sponsor
in the past. A surprise keynote speaker will perform after
dinner.

Thursday’s
agenda will include morning breakout sessions exploring
the most current issues and trends facing independent agencies
today, followed by a luncheon/ Trade Fair and an afternoon
general session. After a short break, there will be a networking
group discussion. The meeting will conclude with an offsite
evening event sponsored by Risk Placement Services, Inc.
Throughout the gathering, ARM members will have the opportunity
to learn and network while sharing valuable market perspectives.
The conference will end with breakfast Friday morning.
Optional recreational events will be offered to ARM members
who plan to extend their stay in Orlando.
ARM has more than 250 agency members who collectively
generate an annual premium volume in excess of $4 billion.
