Itasca,
Illinois (March 3, 2008) —Associated Risk Managers
(ARM), the nation’s foremost independent agency network,
will hold its National Conference April 8-10 at Bally’s
in Las Vegas. Organizers are planning a substantive program
of information, education, and entertainment.
With the theme “Bright
Lights Bold Moves Winning Big!,” the
2008 ARM National Conference will address the specific issues
and needs of its independent agency members. According to
Scott Spangler, Vice President of ARM Partners, which provides
support services to ARM, “this year’s conference
is significant as it focuses on ARM’s continued commitment
to growth in membership and in national recognition.”
The
conference will begin on Tuesday with a welcoming dinner
reception featuring a surprise keynote speaker. Wednesday’s
agenda will include morning breakout sessions exploring the
most current issues and trends facing independent agencies
today, followed by a luncheon/Trade Fair and an afternoon
general session. The meeting will conclude with an evening
reception sponsored by wholesale broker Risk Placement Services,
Inc. Throughout the gathering, ARM members will have the
opportunity to learn and network while sharing valuable market
perspectives.

ARM
members will also have an opportunity to participate in
an optional recreational day on Thursday, with tours available
to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam or the Colorado River, as well
as a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon National Park.
ARM has more than 250 agency members who
collectively generate an annual premium volume in excess
of $4 billion. Registration for the 2008 Annual Conference
is recommended by March 7, 2008.
