Itasca,
Illinois (May 27, 2008) — A dynamic new video was
a highlight of the 2008 National ARM (Associated Risk Managers)
Conference held this year at Bally’s in Las Vegas,
April 8th and 9th. Introduced by Robyn Konlon of Konlon & Associates,
Inc., (Park Ridge, IL), the presentation supports ARM’s
vision for national expansion. It features an engaging
visual history of ARM, as well as a summary of the organization’s
benefits, to be used for promoting new ARM members, assisting
with expansion into new states, and communicating ARM’s
story to the insurance marketplace.
The conference also welcomed renowned juggler and motivational
speaker Greg Bennick, who entertained attendees and supported
the conference theme, “Bright Lights… Bold
Moves… Winning Big.” Attendees were receptive
to this year’s new format, which was filled with
opportunities to learn, share, and socialize. Breakout
sessions, trade fair, luncheon, and group discussions helped
connect independent insurance agents from all over the
US.
As part of the conference, ARM also elected its new Board
of Directors, which will continue ARM’s mission to
provide educational programs, resources and revenue-generating
opportunities for independent insurance agents.

Chairman Larry McSpadden from Indiana will lead the organization,
with Craig Payan from Illinois as New Vice Chair. The Board
also welcomes new members John Nave from Ohio and Shaun
Borth from Washington, to make up the following Board in
its entirety:
