Breakout
sessions are an ARM Conference tradition. They offer
attendees a concentrated opportunity to learn and ask questions
about a wide variety of resources. In just one morning
it's possible to attend six of eight different “classes” on
anything from Executive Risk to Disaster Planning. The
result? Attendees arrive home with new energy, ideas and
connections for their agencies that enhance client service. This
year's breakout sessions included the following topics:

BUSINESS CONTINUITY: A “MUST” IN
DISASTER PLANNING
Most disaster plans help you recover from the disaster,
but do they keep you in business, answer your calls, and
service your customers throughout the disaster? There
is an answer, and it is Business Continuity Management. Artizan
Internet Services is a leading provider of 24/7 customer
service solutions for the insurance industry. Laurie Allen
led this session and described Artizan's solutions specifically
designed to expand upon an agency's existing services to
achieve greater results in productivity and customer satisfaction.

CYBER RISK 101
Consider the fact that cyber insurance applies to any
business that uses computers. That's a pretty astounding
concept and something that you should assess with each
one of your clients. David Hallstrom, who represents RPS
Executive Lines, a wholesale brokerage specializing in
Management and Professional Liability, explored cyber risk
with attendees at this session.
